Funds are provided for Head Start Graduate Student Research grants to support dissertation research by advanced graduate students who are working in partnership with Head Start or Early Head Start programs and faculty mentors.
Eligible applicants are public, private, and State-controlled institutions of higher education, and non-profit institutions in the United States applying on behalf of university faculty who serve as mentor/principal investigator and for an enrolled doctoral-level student. To be eligible to administer the grant on behalf o f the student, the institution must be fully accredited by one of the regional accrediting commissions recognized by the Department of Education and the Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation
